📜 KBC Event – Rules & Guidelines

• 1. Participation
  • Participants can compete individually or in a team of two.
  • All participants must register before the event begins.
  • Team members cannot be changed once registered.
• 2. Fastest Finger First (FFF) Round
  • All participants will play the Fastest Finger First round.
  • The participant who gives the correct answer in the shortest time will reach the Hot Seat.
  • After one contestant completes the Hot Seat round, the process will restart with Fastest Finger First to select the next contestant.
• 3. Hot Seat Round
  • The selected participant will answer General Knowledge (GK) questions.
  • Each question will have four options (A, B, C, D).
  • The difficulty level of the questions will gradually increase.
  • A timer will be displayed for each question.
  • Contestants must clearly state their final answer before the timer runs out.
• 4. Lifelines
  • Each contestant/team can use three lifelines (only once each):
  • Audience Poll – Audience votes for the answer.
  • 50:50 – Two incorrect options are removed.
  • Swap the Question – The current question is replaced with a new one.
• 5. Determining the Winner
  • At the end of the event, only ONE WINNER will be declared based on:
  • Maximum number of correct answers and points accumulated.
  • Least number of lifelines used.
  • Minimum time taken.
  • If required, a tie-breaker question will be asked.
• 6. Fair Play
  • Contestants must submit their phones before sitting on the Hot Seat.
  • Audience members must not reveal or signal answers to the contestant.
  • Any form of cheating or disturbing contestants will result in immediate disqualification.
  • While a contestant is answering, others must remain silent.
• 7. Final Authority
  • The decision of the host and organizing committee will be final and cannot be challenged.
